H1N1 Virus Proactive Measures
The faculty and staff of Cedar Ridge Elementary School are taking seriously the potential risk of spreading the H1N1 virus at our school. Here are the steps we are following at our school:

1)Using hand sanitizer throughout the day.

2)Wiping down desks weekly.
-
3)Sending home an article in the school newsletter about proactive measures
-
4)Reminding parents to keep children home when they are sick.
-
5)Sanitizing doorknobs, drinking fountains, phones, restrooms, and lunchroom tables daily.

6)Sanitizing playground equipment occasionally.
-
7)Reviewing with students about washing hands and other healthy habits.

October Newsletter (Updated 10/28)
Powerschool is to be replaced by Skyward in all Elementary Schools this year in four different phases.
We have run into unexpected problems switching over. Until the switch is complete, you must contact your children’s teachers for information concerning your child’s grades. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
All secondary schools will continue to use Powerschool and move to Skyward in the 2010-2011 school year.

WANTED:
A few good volunteers to come and help in our lunchroom. From 11:00-12:00, daily. If you could come and help Mr. Corry wipe tables, we would really appreciate it!
