Cedar Ridge Elementary
Community Council Members Needed!
It is election time again! This year we have three parent positions to fill on our School Community Council. Community Council members serve a two-year term, during which they are asked to attend each Community Council meeting. (Meetings are held every other month on the third Monday, and last about an hour.)
The School Community Council is made up of parents and faculty members who work together to implement a plan for distributing the School Trust Land money, develop a School Improvement Plan and a Safe Walking Route, as well as advise and make recommendations to school and district administrators.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact one of the Community Council members. Interested parents should submit their name and 3-4 sentences describing themselves and their reasons for wanting to be elected the SCC to Mrs. Hayes (email shayes@alpine.k12.ut.us) by February 15th.
